AwardPOP by Kwelio is Dubai’s App of the Year 2026, and Longevity App of the Year

The new POP by Kwelio · Coming to the App Store in Q4 2026

Your medicines, one calm moment at a time.

POP by Kwelio is built around the Pop ritual: one reminder, one photo checked against your schedule, and a record you own. Redesigned from the ground up for iPhone.

The app in one minute.

One photo at each dose. Kwelio suggests what it can see; you confirm against your schedule.

Calm by design. “5 of the last 7 days”, never a streak that resets to zero.

Pick where Kwelio lives. Atmospheric design: six terrains, four times of day. Try one, and move the sun.

Your KAS. The picture of how your medicines are going, from 0 to 100.

Things to mention, not act on. Interaction notices to raise with your pharmacist or doctor.

Your care team sees the score. Not your photos, not your daily logs.

Calm technology

“The best technology is technology that you don’t have to think about.”

An app you are asked to open every day has to be one you are glad to open. Health apps tend to ask for attention: badges, alarms, red numbers. POP by Kwelio asks for a few seconds, then gets out of the way.

So everything that can be calm, is. One reminder at each dose time, in a voice you choose. One photo, checked against your schedule. And then nothing, until the next dose.

  • No streak that resets to zero. Your week reads “5 of the last 7 days”, so one bad day never wipes out a good month.
  • Nothing to lose. A missed dose is never framed as losing something. When you miss one, Kwelio asks why, once.
  • No leaderboards, no confetti. No loops built to keep you scrolling. Lio Points stay in the background.
  • Every voice keeps the same rules. Reminders come in a tone you pick, and every tone is calm.

The Pop ritual

A few seconds at each dose.

The reminder arrives on your schedule. Take one photo of your medicines: Kwelio suggests the ones it can see, and you confirm what you took against your schedule. Each confirmed dose joins your history, with its photo.

Assisted verification: photo capture with confirmation against your schedule. Our computer-vision model is in training. A photo and a dose log are a record, not proof that a medicine was taken.

Atmospheric design

Pick where Kwelio lives.

A medicine app does not have to look like a hospital form. Kwelio sits in a place: a terrain that follows the time of day, so the app feels bright in the morning and quiet at night.

  • 6terrains: Default, Earth, Water, Air, Ice and Sand. Earth is where Kwelio starts.
  • 4times of day: sunrise, day, sunset and night, following the clock if you like.
  • 0effect on your score. The terrain is yours to enjoy; it never touches your KAS.

When you open the app, the day’s figures arrive one at a time over the Earth terrain. With Reduce Motion on, they simply appear.

Your score

The picture of how your medicines are going.

KAS, the Kwelio Adherence Score, shows how consistently you keep to your medicines, over a rolling 30 days. It starts once you have 14 days and 10 scheduled doses. Supplements and as-needed medicines get reminders but no score, and the app says so.

  • 0–100Over a rolling 30 days. One week moves it only a little.
  • 14 daysand 10 scheduled doses before the first score. Until then, it is calibrating, never zero.
  • NeverTaking part, or choosing not to, does not affect your cover, your premium, or how any claim is handled.

Lio Points

Yours to keep. Quiet by design.

You earn Lio Points for each dose you log, and a little more for a whole dose time. They are real and yours, redeemable for vouchers from your insurer or Kwelio’s partners.

Points are not your score. Your KAS is the picture of how your medicines are going; nothing you spend or earn changes it. And the points stay in the background, so the app never turns your health into a game you can lose.

The technology

The hard part, kept out of sight.

Behind a few seconds at each dose: assisted verification, photo suggestions, Kwelio’s own medicine knowledge base, interaction notices and early support. Open any of them for the detail.

Photos

A photo helps. It never decides.

Assisted verification: photo capture with confirmation against your schedule. Our computer-vision model is in training.

You label your own medication and confirm every suggestion. A dose log and a photo are a record, not proof that a medicine was taken, and the app says so.

Adding a medicine

From a photo of the box.

Add a medicine by photographing its box, blister pack or label, and the app suggests the medicine for you to confirm: a suggestion, never a check.

Reference photos of each pill help the app suggest which pill is which. You always have the last word.

Medicines

Kwelio’s own medicine knowledge base.

Built from reference drug data held offline, US prescribing information and UAE drug data, rewritten in plain words and put in UAE context. There is no live feed behind it.

Worth knowing

Things to mention, not act on.

When two of your medicines are worth mentioning together, the app tells you in plain words, with a source line from the prescribing information.

Every notice is framed as something to raise with your pharmacist or doctor, never as an instruction to stop or change a medicine. There are no confidence figures.

Through your plan

Help before it is needed.

If you join through your health insurance plan, KIS, the Kwelio Intervention Score, can flag when you might need support soon, so your care team can reach you early.

The model behind it: AUROC 0.88 on CMS DE-SynPUF (US Medicare synthetic claims), 2.1M de-duplicated records. It shows the method works, not that it is proven on a UAE cohort. The score weights are set by experts and will be refitted on the first real cohort.

Your data

Who sees what.

Your care team sees your medication score and whether you might need support. Not photos, not daily logs. Data from other health apps never feeds the score.

It’s your choice, and you can stop any time.
